| Yes that's right! Millada Productions and the cast and crew of Star Trek: Osiris are proud to announce the show's first bout of news media coverage! On August 2, 2008 a photographer and reporter from The Detroit News were on set to do a story about the show. After interviews were conducted, and the photos set up the article finally ran on Tuesday, September 2nd. Cast Changes
As some of you may have noticed, there have been some changes to our original cast as production has progressed over the last few months. Thankfully they occured early on in the production run with very minimal changes to the overall plan. The departures were unfortunate, and sudden, but as with anything, the show must go on! We now take the time to formally introduce a couple of the newest cast members: In July, Millada Productions was proud to bring on Kim Czas as Federation President Helena Breako! Kim is a very talented actress and brings a presence and sensuality to the role and we are very impressed with her work so far. For you Battlestar Galactica fans out there, Kim brings a 'Laura Roslin' look and feel to the role and we cannot wait to see where she'll take Breako as the series progresses! Most recently, we were happy to bring on Jacquie Floyd as Ensign Sarah Bailey. We were blessed to yet again find another beautiful and talented actress to accept the role and we're very excited with what Jacquie will bring to the role of Bailey. |

Production Updates
| After
a brief hiatus, in which the Writers/Producers and Directors, took a much
needed vacation, our filming is scheduled to resume on Saturday, September
13th.
The entire cast and crew are very excited as we come down the home stretch in the filming process, with only three scheduled days remaining to film. We're also pretty excited because we now get to work with three of our main characters for the first time. They also happen to be three of the four people that we picked up from our first casting call!!! Our much-awaited, oft-promised and ever-postponed second podcast is in the works. Questions that were asked by our fans that weren't covered by the Detroit News article have been collected and readied. (again, great job Eric! He managed to kill half of our list of questions for the podcast in his article!) With filming picking back up we will now attempt to squeeze it in to one of those days. There may be a small surprise in the podcast, tune in to see what we have cooked up for you! More excitement as work on our next episode has begun. The outlining and storyboarding process is in the works and finger has been put to key already for what is most probably the opening scenes of our next episode. We have a Character Bio section in the works as well and expect to have that up by month's end... though sooner would suit us, and Misty's, better. Lastly on our list of things in the works, our CGI team is hard at work on our second teaser trailer. With the full trailer still a few weeks from being released, we want to put something visual out for the public to salivate over. The teaser will expand a bit on the first one, show a little more.. well, don't want to give too much away! Look for the second teaser trailer by mid-month! |
